Sprouting Basics

The magic of sprouting is the powerful nutrition that comes alive and available for your digestion when you activate the seeds for growing a who other plant.  You also activate enzymes that help in digestion.

The Following video from Show Me The Curry demonstrates beans, but the process is the same for wheat.  The timing is somewhat different with different seeds, but if you watch them you will know when to harvest them after watching this video.



Make good use of YouTube.  You can find tutorials for making sprouted wheat flour, and other useful instructions.  Sprouting wheat will make it more digestable.  Eating wheat sprouts may help to avoid digestive issues associated with eating wheat because of the enzymes in them.

My FAVORITE Place to Buy Sprouts is no longer running, but you can find them on Amazon.  LifeSprouts has some good things there. Also, you can sprout stuff from the grocery store, it's not always as reliable, so watch for those that arent sprouting and remove them so they don't cause the rest to spoil.  When they don't grow, they decay.
