Questions Bring Answers (ask good ones)

Why did I ask the question in this picture at the bottom, that is just like the one at the top?  I think there's a big difference between "safe" and "okay".

These questions are designed to address the fear and overwhelm that can be part of facing challenging times.  This blog is about thriving when you could be just surviving.  You can ask productive questions that help you face the situation with at lest SOME joy, or you can ask questions that don't help solve problems and make the problems more miserable than they already are.

"Why did this have to happen?"  This can be a useful question if you take out "have to".  Finding out how we got into a mess in the first place helps us avoid future situations of the same nature that ARE avoidable.  It IS helpful and healthy to learn from our mistakes.  I'm going to reiterate some questions I'm sure I've pointed out in previous posts, because they work, they are a great reminder!

What do I have RIGHT NOW that helps me get what I need?

What skill do I already have that others need, or that I can use to create what I need?

Who needs what I have and would be able to provide a solution for me in exchange?

Is there someone I need to ask for help? Who?

When have I been in tough circumstances and come through alright? Could solutions I haven't found yet exist this time too?  How can I find them?

Is there a true story of overcoming challenging circumstances, even through miracles, that connects to the situation I am in? What can I learn from it?

What questions do YOU ask to help you focus on solutions and overcome problems?
